On one spring afternoon, while home looking out across the yard. I began to remember a childhood memory, being on the fishing creek, holding a cane pole while fishing with cork float sitting on a flipped bucket. I was just trying to catch something on the hook. Being a child growing up was mostly spent with my father's parents down in South Mississippi. I was able to spend a lot of time outdoors riding bikes, playing marbles, playing hiding-go-seek, running through woods, digging for worms and going to the creek to swim. Life was so much easier and such a breeze back then!

Sitting around sharing some stories with my children, I began to tell them all the things that I did to have fun as a child. At that time, I began to tell that my childhood nick name given by my Uncle Jodie was Snappa Tappa. My uncle Jodie was a true character, He would give a nick name for just about everyone he came across. At that moment, I paused and just gazed off for a while, because I haven't heard the nick name “Snappa Tappa” in almost 20 years. 

Snappa Tappa has now grown into this animated gator that captures just some of the moments that we all may have shared in life from family trips, summer vacations, while out of school, playing in the yard as a young child, remembering the classic cars that would ride through town, backyard barbeques in the South with friends and family. Those are just a few to name! The many places we traveled as a kid, the freedom to run and play, and have just no worries at all!!
